Motorists may experience delays due to the closure of both Interstate 94 westbound lanes at Otter Tail County Road 1 near Fergus Falls on Wednesday, June 17, beginning at 5 a.m. Motorists will be detoured onto the exit ramp and entrance ramp of the overpass while crews replace a culvert beneath the Otter Tail County Road 1 bridge.
The culvert replacement is scheduled to be completed by the end of the day.
The work is part of a concrete rehabilitation project that began May 11. Crews will work Monday through Saturday through October this year. The project is scheduled to be completed by June 2010.
The Minnesota Department of Transportation urges motorists to always drive with caution, slow down in work zones and never enter a roadway that has been blocked with barriers or cones.
