Oil prices fell 12% Wednesday, still at $1.84/gallon locally

Crude oil prices may have risen 38% since Christmas, however, on Wednesday they fell sharply by 12%; which is one of the largest single-day declines in history. The price drop on Wednesday was the biggest drop since September 24th, 2001 – just after the September 11th terrorist attacks. On Wednesday night, gas prices in Fergus Falls were $1.84 a gallon. The highest price of gasoline in Minnesota is in International Falls where its currently selling for $2.02 a gallon, while in St. Cloud it will cost you $1.67 per gallon.
